The “Protector” is a 2nd generation track mat re-designed by BML Enterprises in 2015 to cut the overall weight by approximately 50%. In doing so, we have eased handling in the field, as well as reduced shipping costs. The Protector has been tried, tested, and proven to be a railroad industry standard.
For Locomotive Ready Track Applications
The “Absorber” was redesigned by BML Enterprises in 2015. While the top layer is still made of 100% polyester in order to maintain the highest UV protection possible, some of the raw materials have been adjusted to enhance the quality and durability of the finished product.
